However, the best way to solve the given situation is to do the External Wall Waterproofing. Sure – sometimes it is impossible to access the external wall – but when it is possible, it is definitely the most reliable option.
How we do it:
– After finishing with all the digging, required to open up the walls for External Wall Waterproofing – we wash the dirt and debris from the wall with High Pressure Washer.
– Plugging any holes or cracks with Hydraulic Cement – all cavities and air holes must be filled.
– Rendering and flattening the nominated brick wall.
– After the wall is all nice and dry – applying TremProof 250GC Waterproofing Membrane.
– Applying the second coat on the day after.
– After the Membrane has dried – installing Protection Boards, using Sikaflex PRO Adhesive Sealant Polyurethane. It can be Cuspate Sheet, Coreflute Protector Sheet, VersiDrain 8 Geo or other quality Protection Board – and it is mainly needed for protection of Waterproofing Membrane during back-fill.
– If necessary – compacting the ground with Soil Tamper Rammer Compactor.
– Restoring the Topping – if discussed with the Client (can be Tuscan Topping, Dromana Topping, Lilydale Topping or other).
